Are you eager to teach in a diverse, college-prep environment?  Bishop Dunne Catholic School is seeking an experienced high school English Teacher. The position will be for the 2022-2023 Academic Year. The position will start immediately.

Job Requirements:

The candidate will be a dedicated professional who understands the joys and demands of teaching and is able to develop daily lessons that meet the goals of the classes, complete grading, maintain an advisory group and lead advisory group meetings, as well as perform all basic administrative duties (ex. maintain attendance records, accurate grade book, comment writing).

Education/Experience Requirements:

Qualifications include: An undergraduate degree from an accredited university in English, or at least 18 graduate credits in English, with an ability to teach AP Language and Composition. Ability to teach AP Research is preferred. A valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for the subject and level assigned is preferred. The candidate must have strong interpersonal communications skills and solid technology skills for use in instructional and professional tasks.

Special Requirement: Must be willing and open to understanding Catholic teachings, required.

All candidates must be able to pass background checks and comply with the Diocese of Dallas Safe Environment Program. Candidates must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
