Salary: $24.85 per hour plus benefits/Range 28
Additional salary credit may be given for internal transfers and recent Greeley-Evans School District 6 reh ires, up to $39.83 per hour plus benefits.

Contract Length/ Days: (2022-2023/ 260 Days)

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Required:
  • Must have high school diploma or GED
  • CompTIA A+ certification, or the ability to achieve this within the first 6 months of employment.
  • Valid Colorado driver's license
Preferred:
  • Experience working with desktop computer hardware, desktop computer software, network operating systems and data networking
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Summary/Objective: Installs, maintains, tests, and repairs various types of desktop computer hardware and software. Employee may have access to confidential information during the execution of normal day-to-day work.

Essential Functions:
  1. Drives various fleet vehicles daily.
  2. Accomplishes duties under supervision of higher level ISCST.
  3. Performs work according to printed information on the Support Services work order system.
  4. Responds to emergencies.
  5. Installs, maintains, tests, and repairs desktop computer hardware and software.
  6. Provides user training for operating systems and common application suites.
  7. Uses positive verbal and non-verbal skills at all times when working with district personnel and community members.
  8. Responds to questions from callers at the help desk; remotely assists staff and administration.
  9. Other duties as assigned

Additional Qualifications:
  • Basic knowledge of the methods, materials, tools, and practices pertinent to this position.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft operating systems.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Basic knowledge of data networking principals.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to follow and understand oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to deal tactfully with public and staff.
  • Ability to respond under pressure to immediate situations while maintaining courteous and professional relationships with public and staff.
  • Ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy, consistency, and thoroughness.
  • Ability to make decisions using good judgment and common sense.
  • Ability to follow established safety practices.
  • Ability to work independently and with others.
  • Good math skills.
  • Ability to perform all functions of the position.

Work Environment/ Physical Demands:
Ability to sit for long periods of time, numerous distractions, visual, auditory and ambulatory acuity important. Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds.
