Qualifications: Hold a valid Florida Educator's Certificate or eligible for a Florida certificate in Guidance and Counseling plus three (3) years of experience in the field with appropriate leadership capabilty.
The position is 100% grant-funded and dedicated to the District's Homeless Education Program, HEART, guided by the federal McKinney-Vento Act mandates. Direct contact with district and school-based staff, students, families, and the greater community to remove barriers to academic achievement of high school students experiencing homelessness. Supplemental support services with greater emphasis on drop-out prevention, graduation status, and post secondary college, career, and life readiness planning.
