SUMMARY: The Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction reports directly to the Superintendent of Schools. He/she will administer and supervise the development and implementation of all district curriculum, establish and maintain ongoing curriculum and instruction review for all instructional programs, advise the Superintendent and BOE on policies and practices related to curriculum and instruction, serve as district assessment coordinator, plan and oversee professional learning opportunities for the district, establish annual budget for curriculum and instruction, analyze district level accountability data, and maintain and evaluate instructional coaches.

- with a minimum of five years of classroom experience; previous administrative experience in the area of curriculum development, instructional improvement, and assessment.
- with a Master's Degree required (Doctorate preferred).
- with Connecticut Certification for Intermediate Administration and Supervision (092) or eligibility.
