The job of Educational Interpreter- ASL is done for the purpose/s of interpreting between spoken English
and American Sign Language (ASL; or another signed or visual system) at a fluent rate for student(s) who
are deaf or hard of hearing (d/hh) served in assigned local school district(s). This position provides
interpretation support for students who are d/hh for the purpose of providing them access to the educational
environment.
• Help us launch a collaborative project with The Washington Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Youth
• Mentorship and professional development
• Travel time and mileage reimbursement

This position is 190 days/year, 8 hours/day.
