Essex Westford School District is seeking a full-time Human Resources Associate to join our HR team! The Human Resources Associate will perform a wide variety of data entry, system management and HR support to ensure a high level of HR customer service and accuracy. This position coordinates and completes human resources functions, including providing general HR support, coordinating projects with guidance from HR leadership, system data entry, and compiling data to meet federal, state and local reporting needs.

The HR Associate takes the initiative to work alongside Human Resource and Payroll staff to identify needs, coordinate and implement projects, and complete daily work. This position also assists in maintaining a professional, friendly, positive and respectful work atmosphere by coordinating and providing a full range of administrative functions as part of the Human Resource team.

Candidates with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:
  • A combination of professional work experience, lived experience and/or education in business support, human resources or other related field
  • Proficient technology skills. Able to effectively and efficiently use spreadsheets, and word processing programs. Experience with Google Suite preferred.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail, strong organizational skills are required.
  • Motivated and self-directed, demonstrated initiative to move projects forward with little supervision required
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to provide high level customer service
  • Proven ability to work effectively without specific direction, and with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work as part of a team.
