The Academy of Notre Dame, Tyngsboro, a Catholic private school, sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, is based on the educational philosophy of their foundress, St. Julie Billiart. The School Lunch Coordinator will oversee the student lunch program. This position does not involve cooking or food preparation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Distribute pre-packaged and labeled student lunches to students in grades Pre-K through 12
Communicate with food service vendor regarding the Academy's lunch program, participating
restaurants, delivery times, quality control, and customer service issues.
Access vendor online system to create daily student lunch lists
Order and distribute student milk
Order food and beverages for vending and maintain stocking of vending machines
Work with Finance office to track account reimbursement
Provide Administration with regular feedback on overall program satisfaction and identify
any areas for improvement
Follow up on unclaimed meals (determine meal pick up or donation)
Educate Academy faculty, staff, and students on details of the lunch program, as necessary
Ensure that all related applications are filed and permits in place

This is a part time position from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

    Job Requirements

    • QUALIFICATIONS

      Previous cafeteria experience preferred, but not required
      A minimum of three letters of reference from former employers
      Provide proof of U.S. Citizenship or legal resident alien status; evidence of criminal check
      (CORI) and fingerprinting will be required.
    • At least 2 yearsof relevant experience preferred
    • High School/Trade School degree preferred
    • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
