    • Kern High School District is hiring substitutes on an AS NEEDED BASIS, applications will be accepted periodically for the following Substitute Classifications:

    Instructional Assistant

    THE FOLLOWING ARE REQUIRED AND MUST BE SUBMITTED:
    • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
    • Certification of District Proficiency in areas of Reading, Writing, and Mathematics by Passing the District Proficiency Exam

    - One of the following may be submitted in place of the District Proficiency Certificate:
    • Proof of passing Proficiency Exam from any district
    • AA Degree or higher
    • At least 48 college units
    • Passing CBEST (California Basic Education Skills Test)
