Job Description
The EPIC Program at Rutland High School is looking for a new Site Coordinator to attract and build creative and engaging programs to support students, and to encourage exploration, learning, and development of transferrable skills. The successful candidate must have a vision for implementing engaging summer and afterschool programming that connects with school-based initiatives. Strong leadership and collaboration skills are a must.
The Site Coordinator responsibilities include: manage daily operation of afterschool and summer programs; create supportive learning environments; supervise/recruit staff; maintain grant compliance; promote programs and build community connections. Ideal candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree with current Vermont Teacher Certification and experience working with youth in a public school or other setting that meets VAE/School standards.
Anticipated Schedule: The afterschool program follows the school calendar (~15 hours per week). The summer program runs for four to six weeks (~ 15-40 hours per week).
All candidates must meet VAE and local qualifications, including passing background checks.
