NetSuite Systems Administrator III

Position summary

The NetSuite Administrator is required to understand and conceptualize applications from both the technical and a business point of view. This position requires strong business skills and would be responsible for reviewing, analyzing and implementing ways to improve systems to make business processes more efficient and improve data integrity. The successful candidate must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, own deliverables end to end, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic environment. The candidate will work closely with various business teams to create and build functional operational support through the Enterprise Systems applications. Candidates must possess the ability to understand business requirements and build workable solutions in Enterprise Systems.

Responsibilities
  • Administer the Oracle NetSuite platform and establish a culture of enabling best-practices
  • Engage with end-users to grasp business necessities thus allowing the most effective solutions to issues
  • Provide technical assistance to end-users along with holding training sessions on user adoption
  • Manage implementation process for Oracle NetSuite modules
  • Providing front-line support with regards to all aspects of NetSuite and data maintenance.
  • Planning, reviewing, and configuring NetSuite as needed to meet the needs of staff
  • Development and maintenance of custom application extensions using system API and third-party tools
  • Developing, documenting, and following formal policies, procedures, and protocols for changes, customization, standards, usage, etc.
  • Support integrations and workflows between Enterprise System (Salesforce, Adaptive Planning, Paylocity, Snowflake)
  • Support Executive team asks as well as Sales Operations requests
  • Maintain user roles and system access working along with HR for onboarding/offboarding
  • Support accounting tasks: AP, AR, GL, and fixed assets
  • Support Customer Portal
  • Develop and maintain saved searches, reports, KPIs, and dashboards.

Skills and abilities
  • 5+ years' experience with Oracle NetSuite
  • Detail-oriented, dedicated, energetic, and motivated
  • Ability to balance technical skills with business savvy - ability to transform end-user needs into technical and functional requirements
  • System implementation and system integration experience
  • Capable of supporting the configuration, development, and further evolution of the NetSuite system
  • Ability to develop new reports and dashboards
  • Knowledge of SuiteScript
  • Experience editing financial reports
  • Proven ability to follow through and prioritize work

Education and experience
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Five or more years of experience in complex information system and software analysis, design, development, implementation, and maintenance
  • Specific experience provisioning, supporting, and administering NetSuite products
  • Preferred Certifications:
  • NetSuite SuiteFoundation
  • NetSuite Administrator
  • NetSuite ERP Consultant
  • NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer
