Minimum Required Qualifications

• Possess Washington State Teaching Certificate September 2022
• WSP/FBI fingerprint background clearance (fee paid by the employee)
• Ability to establish positive relationships with students, parents, and community
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience and training in the effective use of assessment and intermediate common core standards
• Regular attendance is an essential function of this position
• Regular attendance is an essential function of this position
• The safety and health of students

Preferred Qualifications:

• Elementary Teaching Experience
• Demonstrated command of interpersonal communication skills with students, parents, and peers (oral and written)
• Ability to work with diverse learners
• Ability to develop and maintain ongoing assessment of students
• Demonstrates knowledge and skill in curriculum develop,emt/adaptation
• Abiltiy to team and collaborate with peers
• Utilize Make Your Day Citizenship Program
