Job Details
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute an instructional program (small leveled literacy intervention groups in grades: K-3) that upholds the values and ideals of Archbishop Borders School and the Archdiocese of Baltimore Catholic Schools.
- Provide push-in support for students and teachers
- Assess students' academic progress in their reading foundational skills
- Provide assessment data to teachers, students, parents, and administration
- Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students at all times, and for classroom management using PBIS (positive behavior intervention and support) protocols.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and administration to plan, implement and evaluate the instructional program.
- Must be proficient in using a variety of technology during daily lessons as well as to enrich and differentiate instruction
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Degree in Elementary Education
- MSDE teacher certification in Elementary Education
- Knowledge of curriculum, and principles and practices of pedagogy
- Follows and maintains knowledge of all AOB policies and procedures.
- Maintain high professional standards consistent with the mission and the teachings of the Catholic Church.
