Job Details

Mother Mary Lange Catholic School, located in Baltimore, Maryland, has an opening for a Regional Schools Facilities Manager.

General Responsibilities: Provides direct facilities management in all facets of building operations, oversees maintenance, housekeeping, grounds keeping and security for: Mother Mary Lange, Archbishop Borders, Cardinal Shehan and St. Casimir Catholic Schools.

Essential Functions for the 4 regional schools include:
  • Management and supervision of Catholic School building maintenance, repair and improvements.
  • Oversight of maintenance and security personnel.
  • Development, review and implementation of maintenance contracts and procured services such as HVAC and roofing inspection contracts.
  • Preparation and monitoring of annual facilities management operations budget.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a driving license in good standing to drive between the 4 campuses.
  • Ability to work with hands and perform minor repairs and troubleshooting to building mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
Relationships:
  • Direct reports to the Principal of MML and dotted line responsibility to the Principals at Archbishop Borders, Cardinal Shehan and St. Casimir
  • Collaborates with other Facilities Management staff on special projects
  • Collaborates with and responds to requests from Central Services staff

Job Requirements:

Minimum Education and Experience:
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in facility management or building operations
  • Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory and budget management experience
Required Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:
  • Working knowledge of building systems including building automation and fire monitoring systems.
  • Experience in contract administration
  • Ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer literate with Windows and MS Office
  • Ability to conduct group meetings and presentations
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
