Salary Range: $15.870 -$18.670

Essential Functions and Objectives:

- The Assistant Early Childhood Teacher is responsible for fostering a positive, nurturing and orderly physical environment conducive to the optimal growth and development of children. Duties may include supervising play areas, assisting with curriculum, maintaining logs and reports, housekeeping and more.

Skill Requirements:

Must be Assistant Early Childhood Teacher Qualified per the Colorado Department of Human Services Guidelines.

Must qualify by one of two ways:

1.Completed one early childhood education course (ECE 101, 102, or 103) with a course grade of "C" or better and is currently enrolled/attending in a second ECE course, as well as having accumulated twelve (12) months (or 1,820 hours) of verified experience in the care and supervision of four (4) or more children less than six (6) years of age who are not related to the individual.

2.Completed two early childhood education courses (ECE 101,102, or 103), with a course grade of "C" or better with no experience.

Credential Requirements:

- Must be able to become First Aid, CPR and Universal Precautions certified.

Education Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent and completion of at least one college course in early childhood education (ECE 101, 102 or 103) is required.
