Walker Community Counseling is currently looking to hire a Clinical Supervisor (LICSW/LMHC) for their Needham based program. Under the guidance of the Director, the Clinical Supervisor will assist in the daily oversight and operations of the outpatient, in-home therapy, and therapeutic mentoring programs. Provide 24-hour on-call consultation as required. Provide supervision of interns and/or staff, as assigned. Provide leadership presence in program and during staff meetings. Assist with hiring, training, orientation, and support to staff and interns. Provide a small amount of Outpatient or In-Home Therapy (IHT) services to assigned youth and families.

Supervision to be exercised: Supervise CBHI staff, outpatient clinicians, and interns as assigned by Clinic Director
Education and Licensure
Required:
- Candidate must possess a Master's degree in a relevant discipline such as: Psychology, Counseling Psychology or Social Work.
- Independent Licensure Required: LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC.
Experience
Required:
- Experience working therapeutically with children and adolescents with behavioral health needs and their families
- Experience with, and knowledge of, community based mental health including CBHI services
- Experience with strength-based assessment and development of treatment plans based on clear clinical formulations and knowledge of collateral systems
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team structure
- Demonstrated creativity, cultural curiosity, and flexibility in responding to a variety of family, home, and community environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience supervising clinical staff
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams and facilitate meetings
- Proficiency in use of computer systems for clinical information management
- Demonstrated ability to produce written reports in a timely manner
Preferred:
- Experience providing outpatient and CBHI services preferred
- 3+ years supervisory experience preferred
Abilities
Required:
- Reliable transportation and proof of valid auto registration, auto insurance, and driver's license
- Ability to meet deadlines and follow through with multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing and communicating effectively
- Ability to respond to and follow through with requests professionally
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to sit at work station for prolonged periods of time, consistent with OSHA suggestions and requirements
- Must have the ability to access different building locations, equipment, mailboxes, etc
- Must have ability to access meetings and sessions in the community as necessary
- Must have ability to lift packages up to 10 pounds

Essential functions
Supervisory/Administrative:
- Assist director in the daily oversight and operations of the outpatient, in-home therapy, and therapeutic mentoring programs
- Assist director in implementing the program's goals, direction, and policies and participate in their development
- Provide leadership presence in program and during staff meetings
- Assist director in insuring compliance with funding sources and regulating agencies
- Assist director in providing quality management and oversight of program records
- Assist with hiring, training, orientation, and support to staff and interns
- Assist with oversight, management, and data tracking and reporting for referrals for all services
- Together with director, maintain collaborative relationships with area providers and state agencies to support service provision, continuity of care, network coordination and responsiveness to client needs
- Represent the program at designated meetings with funders and/or community providers as assigned
- Provide supervision of interns and/or staff, as assigned
- Provide 24-hour on-call consultation as required
Clinical/Direct Services:
- Provide Direct Clinical Services for a small number of Outpatient / In-Home Therapy clients as assigned
- All other duties, as assigned
