The Operations Associate at People's Prep works closely with the Operations Team throughout the year to ensure that all day-to-day services, such as food service, student safety, and general daily operational service are conducted according to local, state, and government policies. The Operations Associate works consistently, creatively, and independently via the guidance of the Operations Manager to support operational efficiency. They work to serve the needs of students and also serve as a model for all People's Prep students by bringing to life our core values. The Operations Associate reports to the Director of Operations.

Responsibilities
  • Works with food service coordinator to set up, distribute, and track meal service.
  • Maintain regular and prompt attendance to all duties and assignments.
  • Monitor students at various times throughout the day to ensure safety and efficiency student transitions.
  • Support operations tasks and systems by assisting the Operations Team with room setup and transition for special school events.
  • Track classroom and office inventory and report inventory levels for reordering.
  • Support operations during special schedules, testing, and events.
  • Collaborate with various operations staff to execute operational tasks and requests.
  • Assist teachers and support staff with administrative tasks such as room setup, copies, and other school-related tasks.
  • Work collaboratively and participate actively at faculty meetings and in professional learning teams.
  • Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
  • Support enrollment efforts through registration work and waitlist calls.
  • Work with the Operations Managers to record daily attendance and execute other tasks to maintain an orderly and safe space.
  • Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the School Leaders.

Qualifications
  • Combination of college and work experience.
  • Minimum experience as determined by the Board.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions and work effectively with students, parents, and school employees.
  • Experience managing, tracking, analyzing, and reporting data.
  • Ability to use responsible care for materials and equipment while carrying out assignments.
  • Shall be in a physical condition that will permit adequate job performance.
  • Firm commitment to and belief in People's Prep's mission.
  • Required criminal history background check, COVID-19 vaccination, and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident status.

Work Environment
  • Regular and prompt attendance is essential.
  • Job is partially performed outside and is subject to exposure to the elements: heat, cold, and wet conditions.
  • Job involves walking and standing for long periods of time.
  • Job is subject to exposure to environmental and/or physical hazards.

This position is part-time and will not exceed 30 hours per week.
