JOB DESCRIPTION

Summer School Teacher at Times 2 Academy (Middle & High Level) (up to 13 Positions Available)

Reading/Math Position (for 6,7 &8 grade Level)

HS CR - Math, ELA, Science and Social Studies Edgenuity

PSAT/SAT boot camp (for 11 grade)

Pre-Calculous boot camp (for 10 grade)

Writing boot camp (for 9 to 11 grade)

Dates & Times:

July 11 through August 12, 2022 Monday-Thursday

For ELA 6,7 & 8 grades from 8:00 am - 9:00 am

For Math 6,7 & 8 grades from 9:15 am - 10:15 am

For HS CR - Math, ELA, Science and Social Studies Edgenuity from 8:00 am - 9:00 am

For 11th grade PSAT/SAT boot camp from 8:00 am - 10:00 am (2 weeks only)

For 9-12th grade Writing boot camp from 8:00 am - 10:00 am (2 weeks only)

For 10th Pre-Calculous boot camp from 8:00 am - 10:00 am (2 weeks only)

Local Budget - $40.00 Per hour - Contingent upon funding

RIDE Requirements

Active Rhode Island Teching certificate in appropriate subject area

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND CURRICULAR LINKAGES

• Must be punctual
• Must learn Edgenuity
• Must create lessons based on assessment data to drive instruction.
• Must administer pre and post assessments
• Must know grade-level common core in math and ELA
• Needs to conduct Zoom instruction, daily, during summer program.
