Job Description:
Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society. Qualified applicants must have strong skills in the area of standards-based planning, instructional best practices, and intentional use of assessments. Applicants must be eager to work cooperatively with both content area and grade level teams.

Job Description:

Required Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State teaching certificate for grades 6-8
- WSP/FBI fingerprint background clearance (fee paid by the employee)
- Student teaching or contracted teaching experience in a secondary setting
- Knowledge and ability to use a variety of techniques and equipment to teach students with differing learning styles
- Regular attendance is an essential function of this position
- Ability to establish positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and community
