    Job Title: Executive Assistant
    Reports To: Director of Teaching and Learning

    FLSA Status: Exempt
    Salary Range: $50,000- $60,000

    Position Summary: The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support within the Department of Student Services.

    Responsibilities:
    • Provide direct office, communication, and executive coordination for the Director of Student Services and department.
    • Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues throughout the school's system to exchange or convey information.
    • The Executive Assistant needs to be goal-oriented, highly organized, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be comfortable and skilled working with both people, spreadsheets, and evolving technologies, and be able to work effectively in a highly interactive team-based office setting.
    • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of work.
    • The ideal Candidate must possess solid written and verbal communication skills and be both personable and professional with all school stakeholders.
    • Experience interacting with the public is preferred.
    • A strong aptitude to work in a collaborative setting on multiple projects or programs is needed, as is the ability to be flexible.
    • The Executive Assistant will need to respond quickly to changing program needs and assignments and be able to occasionally work irregular hours.
    • Ability to build presentations in PowerPoint, Google Slides, or other programs from written notes

    Objectives of this Role:
    1. The ideal candidate will provide support to the department of Student Services as directed to ensure that departmental and district goals and objectives are accomplished and run efficiently.
    2. Maintain and refine internal processes that support to the Director of Student Services, students, and other Student Services personnel.
    3. Manage communication between Director and employees, liaising with internal and external vendors on various projects and tasks.
    4. Manage all scheduling for Director of Student Services, including agendas, mail, email, calls, and other departmental logistics.
    5. Coordinate complex scheduling and extensive calendar management, as well as management of content and flow of information to all student services personnel.
    6. Perform administrative and office support, such as typing, dictation, spreadsheet creation, faxing, and maintenance of filing system and contact database.
    7. Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials, and exercise discretion when interfacing with the public and district personnel.
    8. Organize team communications and plan internal meetings.

    Preferred Skill and Qualifications:
    1. 4 years' experience in secretarial role in a school setting.
    2. Superb written and verbal communication skills
    3. Strong time-management skills and the ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects at once
    4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office productivity tools, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
    5. Flexible team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done; adaptable and enjoys a challenge

    Terms of Employment: Twelve-month position. Salary and Benefits negotiated by the Superintendent and Board of Education.
