SUMMARY:

The Accounts Payable at National Heritage Academies (NHA) is responsible for processing checks and ACH payments, filing, scanning and indexing documents and managing vendor relations as it pertains to accounts payable functions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide a high level of customer service to vendors and employees as the first point of contact in the Accounts Payable department.
  • Respond to emails and phone calls in a timely and professional basis.
  • Completion of daily payment runs in a timely manner -including printing/ processing checks, transmitting ACH detail, verifying data, marking as complete and mailing.
  • Scanning and importing vendor invoices into OnBase and distributing them electronically.
  • Filing a variety of vendor documentation included W9 processing.
  • Researching vendor statements to ensure payment timeliness and maintain favorable vendor relationships.
  • Administrative support/other project as assigned for the Accounts Payable team.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2-5 of experience preferred.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Aptitude for attention to detail with ability to process high volume and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office- Outlook and Excel.
  • Provide an excellent level of customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Communicate effectively and contribute to the success of the team.
  • Previous experience in an accounting or accounts payable department a plus.
