Full-time Middle School Spanish Immersion Teaching position for the of the 2022-23 School Year at Fred Fifer III Middle School. Fifer is an Middle School with ~700 students. https://www.crk12.org/Domain/10

Individuals who are eligible or possess Spanish World Language or Bilingual Spanish teachers are encouraged to apply. Applicants must also be eligible to be certified in Secondary World Language:Spanish. Applicants who do not hold Middle/Secondary certification must take and pass a PRAXIS II within two years. If you are interested in this position, but have not yet met all of the requirements, list your license as "pending". Science certification preferred and must be obtained. Preference given to teachers who meet ALL of the requirements for this position.
Applicant must meet State of Delaware certification requirements for Teacher of World Language in Middle School/Secondary School and Teacher of Spanish and Science. Successful candidates must provide evidence of successful PRAXIS II scores: The State of Delaware will recognize Standard certificates from all other states as a means of eligibility.

Bachelors degrees from a foreign university must be translated for equivalency before being accepted by the Delaware Department of Education.

Out of State Candidates: An educator applying for a license in the State of DE with less than 1 year of experience will be placed on an Initial License. Applicants with one completed year of experience, but less than 4 years of experience will receive an Initial License.

SALARY : In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, based on experience and degree. Benefits package included.

  • Individuals must provide official transcripts, if applicable, updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation.
  • All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
  • Anyone offered employment is required to provide the following: proper identification (Social Security Card and Driver's License), documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of I-9 form, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.
