This is a full-time Family Living and Consumer Science teaching position for the 2022-2023 School Year at Caesar Rodney High School to support the K-12 Teacher Academy. The Teacher Academy creates a pipeline for creating future educators in a variety of disciplines. Candidates should be creative, possess a variety of curriculum design skills, and strong classroom management strategies for a variety of grade levels. Must be eligible for or possess valid teaching certificate; Family and Consumer Science Certificate and/or Elementary and Special Education is preferred. The State of Delaware will recognize standard certificates from all other states as a means of eligibility.

SALARY : In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, based on experience and degree. Benefits package available.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
Individuals must provide official transcripts, if applicable, updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation.
All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
Anyone offered employment is required to provide the following: proper identification (Social Security Card and Driver's License), documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of I-9 form, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.
