We are hiring Special Education Classroom Aides for the 2022-2023 School Year! You'll work along side a special education teacher helping students with autism and other special needs learn academic, social and daily living skills. You'll help the students reach their behavioral goals, track their progress, and have some fun, too. Our Elementary School students are ages 5 to 12 and our class sizes are small --- between 5 and 8 students in each class.

Work Hours:
7:45AM to 3:30PM, Monday to Friday

Start Date:
August 24, 2022

Annual Salary:
Beginning at $25,200.00 with $969.20 paid every other Friday from 9/2/22 to 8/18/23

Applicants with prior years of experience start at a higher rate
Additional pay can be earned working any of our summer programs

Requirements:
♦ Two years of college (48 credits) or high school graduate with two years' experience working with children with emotional, social,
and behavioral needs
♦ Paraeducator and/or RBT certification is a plus!
♦ Ability to effectively communicate and interact with staff members and children with special needs
♦ Ability to successfully complete behavior management training and provide crisis intervention as needed
♦ 3 background clearances dated within the past 12 months
