    Duties
  • Serves as a working supervisor over the kitchen work area exercising full supervisory responsibility over work operations
  • Plans use of workers, equipment, facilities, and materials on a week-to-week or month-to-month basis
  • Establishes deadlines, priorities, work sequences, and plans work assignments based on general work schedules, methods and policies set by supervisors.
  • Participates with superiors in the initial planning of current and future work schedules, budget requests, staffing needs and estimates.
  • Assigns tasks to subordinates
  • Explains work requirements, methods and procedures, instruct subordinates in new procedures
  • Investigates and determines causes for work related problems such as excessive costs or low productivity
  • Plans and establishes overall leave schedule.
  • Responsible for training new employees
  • Sets performance standards and makes formal appraisals of subordinate work performance
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
  • The ability to obtain (within first six months of employment) and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification acquired through an American National Standards Institute accredited agency is required (i.e., ServSafe)
  • Health and Immunization assessment is required for this position.

    Experience and training that provide the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform the duties of this position consistent
    with accepted practices of the trade.
    Ability to use and maintain appropriate tools and equipment.
    Ability to read, understand, and apply instruction and other materials related to the job.
    Demonstrated ability to lead or supervise.
    The ability to obtain (within first six months of employment) and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification acquired through an American National Standards Institute(ANSI) accredited agency is required (i.e., ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Program).
