FUNCTIONAL PURPOSE
The District Data Collection Program Manager will be responsible for assisting the Director of Data Collection in monitoring, collecting, evaluating, and reporting key metrics used to measure the district progress towards implementing strategies and accomplishing goals outlined in School Improvement Plans and the District Strategic Plan. In addition, the District Data Collection Program Manager will be responsible for completing data requests from district leaders, school leaders and community partners. The District Data Collection Program Manager will fulfill District evaluation needs of schools and programs and support the District data dashboard processes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provides support on the development, implementation, and monitoring of evaluation plans through data collection, analysis, and technical reporting.
• Provides leadership in the development and design of program evaluation studies.
• Creates and oversees the development of databases for program documentation and outcome variables.
• Provide targeted support to schools designated by the NC DPI Accountability Model as Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI) and Targeted Support and Improvement (TSI) schools.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Expertise in program evaluation methodology.
• Demonstrated facility with PC environments including data management and statistical analysis packages such as SAS.
• Expertise in statistics and research design.
• Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms.
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely both orally and in writing and establish and maintain effective relationships with staff and administration.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum: Master's Degree in Educational Research and Measurement or extensive experience working in an education evaluation setting.

Pay Grade PSM2 - Full-Time - 12 Months - Minimum Monthly Salary $5,488.33
