SALARY INFORMATION

The salary will be in the range of $240,000 plus an excellent benefit package.  The final salary for the successful candidate will be negotiated and determined based upon proven experience, qualifications, and meeting Board criteria.

Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) serves approximately 10,000 pK-12 students in a county with an estimated population of more than 98,000 residents spread across 389 square miles. Nineteen schools serve four attendance areas, including eleven elementary schools, four middle schools, four high schools. These attendance areas vary widely in size and population density, ranging from the more urban centers of Blacksburg and Christiansburg to the more rural communities of Auburn and Eastern Montgomery.
