SUBSTITUTE FOOD SERVICE STAFF

Essex Westford School District is seeking substitute food service staff to work as needed to Perform routine and skilled food preparation and service tasks for the K-8 and high school cafeteria programs.

Candidates with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:

1 year of food service experience is preferred (on-the-job training is provided)

Adaptability to work in a variety of locations depending on the needs

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable

Primary job duties include:

Support the daily operation where needed

Comply with State Sanitation Guidelines

Carry out routine food preparation tasks

Assist with set up

Help with maintaining inventory

Assist in maintaining a clean working environment

Positions are available on an on-call, as-needed basis, but may evolve into regular part-time positions based on the district needs. Hours may vary from early or mid-morning to early afternoon.
