Description of Service Opportunity:
St. Peter Title I Summer Learning Camp Teacher will teach reading and mathematics to selected Cambridge students attending St. Peter School for 15 days from August 8-August 26. Cambridge students currently enrolled in St. Peter School are eligible. Teachers will work for 4 hours each day (1 hr. prep) while students will attend for 3 hours each day. Camp will operate 5 days per week for a three week period.
5 additional planning hours are allowed for a total of 60 hours.
St. Peter Title I Summer Learning Camp Teacher will work with other members of the summer learning camp team in order to create a meaningful summer learning opportunity for selected students. The Title I Summer Learning Camp Teacher will also work with team members to coordinate at least one parent event.

Minimum Requirement/Job Qualifications:
Massachusetts certification and highly qualified status under NCLB regulations necessary. Preference will be given to regularly appointed teacher from Cambridge Public School District.

Contract Dates:
August 1, 2022 through August 26, 2022

Contract Amount:
$35.00 per hour, Not to exceed $2,275.00
