SUMMARY:

National Heritage Academies (NHA) is seeking a Math Curriculum Specialist. This position will report directly to the C&I Math Team Lead and will be responsible for supporting schools in curricular needs relating to professional development, programs, assessment development, resources and documents. This position will require weekly travel to support three of our schools located in Indiana and Wisconsin.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide curriculum and assessments for Math teachers.
  • Actively track and evaluate the effectiveness of created resources.
  • Provide professional development for Math teachers.
  • Collaborate with school leadership to observe, model lessons, and coach Math in NHA schools as requested.
  • Research and promote best practices in assigned content areas.
  • Maintain and enhance current projects.
  • Ability to travel as required - 60% of time, with occasional overnights.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education is required, Master's degree preferred.
  • 4-10 years of teaching experience preferred.
  • Experience presenting to adult learners.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Extensive experience working in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent communication skills is essential, both written and verbal.
  • Candidates can be remote but must be able to travel to schools in Indiana and Wisconsin.
