The Vanguard School in Malvern, PA has openings for two Behavior Analysts to join our team and support our students with implementing skill acquisition and behavior support strategies aligned with current best practices from the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Our Behavior Analysts teach and support student acquisition of adaptive behaviors and alternative responses to challenging behaviors, and support our teachers, behavior specialists, and support staff in carrying out the behavioral goals set in each student's Individual Education Plan and Positive Behavior Support Plan.
POSITION DETAILS AT A GLANCE:
Work Schedule:
School Year (191 days)
Work Hours:
7:45AM to 3:30PM, Monday to Friday
Start Date:
August 24, 2022

Requirements: Master's degree in Special Education, Psychology, School Psychology, Human Development or another related field
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Minimum three years' experience providing direct services to students on the autistic spectrum and/or with emotional disorders.
Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), evidence-based behavioral interventions, and Positive Behavior Support.
Ability to engage intellectually and physically with students in need of crisis intervention.
Ability to recognize the individuality and uniqueness of each student and treat him/her with respect and dignity
