LOCATION: Pennichuck Middle School
STARTING: 2022-2023 School Year
SALARY: Contractual Stipend - $702
QUALIFICATIONS: Teaching applicants must be NH certified in Social Studies
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:The middle school Play Director is accountable to the middle school principal and assumes the following responsibilities:
1. Provides students with an example and expertise of selecting, organizing and staging the school play.
2. Assumes responsibility for the production and direction of the school play; for the artistic thrust of the production; and coordinates the efforts of the music director, choreographer and various production committees toward the completion of the total theatrical experience.
3. The involvement in auditioning, interpreting and rehearsing dramatics and coordinating rehearsals.
4. The supervision of all students during all activities related to the play.
5. Overseeing the use of the school facilities and equipment related to the play.
6. The recruitment of staff members willing to assist in the production of the school play or musical.
7. Working, in conjunction with the principal and music director, in selecting the school play or musical production.
