DESCRIPTION:
A unique opportunity for a Special Education Teacher with early childhood experience. The special education teacher would be responsible for delivering intensive special education intervention/instruction for students with but not limited to Multiple Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Speech and Language Impairment, and Intellectual Disabilities. Applicant must have the ability to effectively use and supervise the implementation and progress monitoring of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Discrete Trial Instruction (DTI). Also organization and supervision skills for scheduling and managing multiple instructional assistants.

SCHEDULE:

• (2) Intensive Education Teachers: 18 hours/week; Monday - Thursday 7:45am - 12:15pm from June 24, 2022 - August 4, 2022.
• (5) Resource Teachers: 17.50 hours/week; Monday - Friday 8:45am - 12:15pm from June 24, 2022 - July 22, 2022.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicant must posses Connecticut Teaching Certificate #165, #265, or #065.

SUPERVISED BY: Summer School Lead Teacher

SALARY: $40/hour
