Description
Waukesha North High School is seeking an English Teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. At Waukesha North, our school goals focus on engaging students in literacy across all content areas in order to maximize student achievement and college/career readiness. We are looking for a team player who is not afraid of innovating and taking risks in the classroom. We appreciate and support evidence of student learning through student talk and actions. Rapid cycle feedback is important as a way for students to learn about their success and challenges. Waukesha North is a 1:1 school with iPads for all students, so the incorporation of daily technology use is encouraged. In addition, North has a strong Dual Language program and is an AVID Site of Distinction. We are looking for a collaborative individual who is willing to try new, innovative teaching practices. A teacher who has experience with the AVID program and the incorporation of writing, inquiry, collaboration, organization, and reading into lessons is desired. Required License #1300
