- Provide direct educational, communication and social support to DHH student
- Collaborate with general education teacher
- Collaborate with onsite/district special education personnel, district audiologists and itinerant teachers
- Participate in the IEP process
- Complete assessments; analyze data, design instruction
- Provide instruction to meet student individualized needs
- Participate in districtwide DHH meetings
- Participate in general education/site-based meeting
- Sign language skills required: CASE and ASL
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Holds a Colorado teaching license or is currently eligible for one with the appropriate endorsement for this position
- A completed Human Resources file including transcripts, student teaching verification, previous work experience
- Acceptable Licenses
- Spec Ed Spec: Deaf/Hard of Hearing (ages birth thru 21)
- Severe Needs Hearing (ages birth thru 21)
- Aurally Handicapped (K-12)
- Hearing Handicapped (K-12)
