Job Details
Job Responsibilities:
- Works with the teacher to plan and implement a program of instruction that adheres to the school's philosophy, goals, and objectives.
- Works with the teacher in making purposeful and appropriate lesson plans that provide for effective teaching strategies and maximize time on task.
- Works with the teacher in planning and implementing a program of study designed to meet individual needs of students.
- Works with the teacher in creating a classroom environment conducive to learning by employing a variety of age-appropriate teaching strategies.
- Provides active supervision of the students at all times.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma and 90-hour childcare certification.
- Current first aide certification preferred
- Experience in a Catholic School setting.
- An appreciation for young students and their families.
- Willingness to support the mission of the School of the Cathedral and the Archdiocese of Baltimore Catholic Schools.
