Archbishop Curley High School invites applications for the position of Varsity Wrestling Head Coach for the 2022-2023 academic year. Located in Baltimore, Archbishop Curley High School is a Roman Catholic college preparatory school rooted in the Franciscan tradition and dedicated to the development of the Curley Man who is challenged to reach his maximum academic and personal potential leading him to be a man of faith, character, discipline, and service to others.

Job Responsibilities:

The Varsity Wrestling Head Coach works under the direct supervision of the athletic director and principal. The coach is expected to provide the necessary leadership and to plan, organize, and be responsible for a comprehensive interscholastic wrestling program, and to carry out the objectives of the athletic department and Archbishop Curley High School. The coach is also responsible for the management of the JV level as well. Qualified candidates should possess strong communication, organizational, motivational, teaching, and coaching skills. The individual should be a person of high character and values that will set a positive example for all students at Archbishop Curley High School.

Qualifications:

• Previous coaching and wrestling experience at the high school/college level 5-10 years
• High-level organizational and communications skills
• Flexible professional schedule to handle practices, matches, and or tournaments
