Technology Field Technician - SAU 29 - To begin July 1, 2022.
The job of Technology Field Technician serves as a resource for users of SAU-wide information systems. This role provides maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions and is responsible for administration and internal support of the districts' PCs, Chromebooks, iPads, printers, and related equipment.
This is a full-time, year-round hourly position (8 hours per day), with excellent benefits, including enrollment in the NH Retirement System.
Associate's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field, or the equivalent work-related experience required (any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the knowledge and abilities to fulfill the position's functions will be considered.) Previous experience in the operations and programming of computer information systems, network design, operations and telecommunication systems, maintenance, system analysis, data systems and troubleshooting of information technology hardware and software preferred. Certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, SQL also preferred.
