Position: Educational Assistant - Title I / .5625 FTE / 4.5 hours per day Monday - Friday
Educational Assistant / . 2813 FTE / 2.25 hours per day Monday - Friday
Total FTE .8438 / 6.75 hours per day

Gov. Kate Brown has directed that Oregon will implement a legal requirement that all public and private school teachers, staff, coaches and volunteers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. "Fully vaccinated" is defined as 14 days after receiving all required doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine (currently two shots of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, or one shot of Johnson & Johnson vaccine). All staff members will need to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Exceptions may be made only for eligible medical or religious reasons. There will not be an option to opt out for other reasons or choose testing in lieu of vaccination, under the state mandate .

Job Statement: Will work with individuals or groups of students to reinforce teacher instruction in reading and/or math.

Qualifications:

• General skills in mathematics, English and writing
• Fluency in Spanish (oral, writing) and English preferred
• Experience working with children in groups or classroom setting
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to maintain cooperative relationships with fellow employees, staff, students, and the general public.
• Must be ESSA qualified:
  • 2 years' education at an institution of higher education
  • Associates degree, or
  • Successful completion of a competency assessment administered by the district on reading, writing, mathematics and instructional delivery skills

Salary/Benefits: Salary Range: $17.46 - $20.85
District pays PERS contribution. Excellent benefit package.
