Description
Reports To: The Athletic Director (Central Campus)
Nature and Scope of Job: Working under the direction of the Athletic Director, the athletic trainer will provide preventive, rehabilitative, and emergency medical care to student athletes.

QUALIFICATIONS:
•State of NJ School Athletic Trainer Certificate
•NJ Board of Medical Examiners license as Athletic Trainer
•Athletic training experience for High School athletic teams

•Maximum of 20 hours per week (including evening and weekend hours)

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

1.Tape or brace athletes to prevent injuries before a game/practice
2.Evaluate injuries
3.Give emergency care of first aid
4.Create rehabilitation plans and go through them with injured athletes and coaches
5.Record patient injury, healing and recovery
6.Evaluate and document injuries of athletes
7.Attend games as scheduled
8.Prepare and process paperwork for Athletic Director
