Position Summary
Valley Forge Educational Services (VFES) is seeking a creative writer and marketing person to join our VFES team! The Marketing & Communications (M&C) Specialist assists in creating and executing effective communications plans and strategies that drive enrollment and staff recruitment, increase brand awareness, and meet fundraising goals.

Under the direction of the Director of Marketing & Communications (M&C), the M&C Specialist writes and communicates compelling and consistent content across multiple channels for internal and external audiences and helps maintain consistency of VFES brand and messaging. In addition, the M&C Specialist attends and photographs special events as required. For specific details, please see the attached job description.

This is a part-time position working 3 days per week, 8AM to 4PM, on our campus in Malvern, PA.

Position Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or related field.
2. Minimum of three years of marketing experience with an understanding of content writing, editing and social media.
3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email delivery platforms like Constant Contact and Emma.
4. Experience coordinating events a plus.
5. Demonstrated organizational, writing and editing, and presentation skills.
6. Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and reprioritize as needed.
7. Able to engage intellectually and physically in all components of the work process.
8. Possess genuine passion for working with children and young adults.
9. Available to meet occasional evening and/or weekend commitments.
