Job Description
Anticipated Home School Coordinator/School Counselor
at Northwest Primary School
Rutland City Public Schools is seeking a dynamic, organized student and family-centered school counselor to work with students with emotional and behavioral challenges whose grade levels may range from grades K-2. Applicants must possess knowledge of trauma, crisis intervention, and diverse learning styles and be able to apply counseling theories and techniques for individuals, groups, and families. The successful candidate must work as a part of a team in assisting students and family members in problem-solving, communication, and positive relationships.
Successful applicants must have three years of experience and have a strong background in an educational setting. A Master's Degree and a current educational license through the Agency of Education is required. Position to commence August 2022.

We are only fifteen minutes from the Appalachian and Long Trail, twenty minutes from Killington Ski Resort, and in close proximity to many other recreational opportunities.
