  • POSITION: Title 1 Home School Coordinator
    LOCATION: Fairgrounds Elementary School
    REPORTS TO: Director of Title 1
    WORK YEAR: July 5, 2022 - August 5, 2022
    SALARY RANGE: $20.00 per hour

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    High School Diploma or GED. Title 1 Schools require Highly Qualified Status that would include either an Associate's Degree or an equivalent two years of college, Bachelor degree or Para-educator II certification from the NH Dept of Education. Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Elementary Education or related field. Previous experience working with disadvantaged,at risk, poverty level and/or homeless students desired.

    SUMMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Provides casework services to pupils at Nashua Children's Home assisting in correcting educational difficulties through monitoring of classroom performance (i-Ready, SmarterBalanced, assignments, other assessments, IEP) and tutoring services if needed. This position coordinates with Principals, Guidance Counselors, Teaching Staff, Homeless Liaison and local agencies. Maintains necessary documentation for Title 1 Services.
