The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is always looking for certified Assessor (Special Education) / Educational Diagnostician Teachers! A master’s degree in special education is required. Course work must include a minimum of 12 SH in courses such as individual tests and measurements, including interpreting and report results, formal diagnostic techniques and assessment, adaptive behavior assessment, functional behavioral assessment, collaborative (arena) assessment, developmental task analysis, diagnosis of reading disabilities, assessment and identification of low incidence disabilities and specific learning impairments (specific learning disabilities and intellectual disability), and assessment of young children.
All teacher applicants must submit an application in DoDEA's Employment Application System (EAS) database and Assessors must selected the following target job:
