Video Content Manager (Remote)

Note: Candidates may work remotely from their home office located anywhere in the United States.

Position Summary

NWEA is looking for an organized, creative, and collaborative leader to join our team as Video Content Manager. This role will play a key role in evolving the NWEA's video content marketing program to meet the strategic objectives of the organization.

This role will collaborate with the senior video producer to coordinate and produce all video content across multiple marketing objectives, tightly aligned to the enterprise content strategy. You're well-versed and experienced in all technical aspects of video production, editing, and distribution but remain curious and always learning. You're social media and tech savvy. You can collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders across a variety of roles and job functions. You are audience-centric while remaining objective driven. You love to learn about how your content performs to inform your next project.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team and project stakeholders to create engaging and creative content to achieve our marketing strategy, brand awareness, and partner retention programs.
  • Working with content strategy leads, execute across all aspects of video production from conception, direction, scheduling, budgeting, and workflow management from pre-production through final delivery.
  • Developing video strategy and content for social media channels
  • Incorporate staff and partner feedback, metrics, and market data to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of our video content
  • Work closely with the content leads and creative team to explore new ideas and concepts to represent the brand in video, multimedia, and motion graphics
  • Work closely with the production manager to establish milestone schedules and estimates
  • Create detailed production plans to maintain timely and accurate delivery of all projects, and communicate them to larger working groups, as required
  • Manage multiple projects at one time
  • Establish and nurture good relationships with internal production teams, subject matter experts, and external vendors and contractors.
  • Effectively applies communication skills to build and maintain relationships and to influence the actions or behaviors of others
  • Effectively present concepts, design, and strategies to senior leadership, creative partners, and project stakeholders
  • Experience creating social-first video content for multiple channels and building out channel-specific strategies
  • Proven ability to create video and multimedia that is aligned with current brand standards
  • Proven ability to create and organize production plans that are implemented on time, within budget, and meet organizational goals
  • Proven ability to apply problem solving skills to assist in making decisions that affect the success of the organization
  • Proven Ability to work effectively with others to accomplish organizational goals and identify and resolve problems
  • Advanced knowledge in all aspects of video production and delivery standards, tools and techniques including; camera operation, editing, transcoding, lighting, audio production, teleprompting, and green screen
  • Expert knowledge of using Adobe Creative Suite to create video, audio, and multimedia content
  • Proven ability to communicate technical concepts, clearly and precisely, to non-technical partners and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to effectively manage simultaneous projects and initiatives
  • Ability to deliver video content tailored to specific delivery channels
  • Effectively solicit feedback to guide your professional and interpersonal skill development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-driven producer with an ability to see an opportunity and provide a solution to fulfill it
  • Constantly improve and iterate based on market feedback, best practices, and data analysis

Education and Experience
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
  • 5+ years' work experience required
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of the education market a plus
