Position: Licensed Physical Therapist - Part-Time - 1 Day per week / 8 hours per day (.200 FTE)

Gov. Kate Brown has directed that Oregon will implement a legal requirement that all public and private school teachers, staff, coaches and volunteers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. "Fully vaccinated" is defined as 14 days after receiving all required doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine (currently two shots of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, or one shot of Johnson & Johnson vaccine). All staff members will need to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Exceptions may be made only for eligible medical or religious reasons. There will not be an option to opt out for other reasons or choose testing in lieu of vaccination, under the state mandate.

Primary Purpose:
The job of Physical Therapist was established for the purposes of assessing students' functional physical development level; planning and implementing appropriate treatment to meet individual student objectives; identifying architectural barriers; providing recommendations for accessibility; program development and student placement; and providing direction to Certified Physical Therapy Assistants.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university (fifth year college or university program certificate preferred);
  • Current license by the Oregon Physical therapy licensing board;
  • Preferably two years of experience as a Physical Therapist.
Job Availability: Hiring for the 2022-2023 school year

Salary / Benefits: As provided in negotiated agreement with teacher bargaining unit, but will not be lees then:
Annual Salary Range: $9,480.20 - $18,372.60
Initial placement based on education and experience. Benefits based on FTE.
$1,000 Professional Work Day Stipend
