Niagara Wheatfield Central School District is planning to run an Elementary Summer Program for identified students to provide data-driven instruction in literacy and mathematics. The goals include ensuring that participating children start the 2022-2023 school year ready for success.
The Elementary Summer Intervention Program K-5 Data Integrator / Teacher position will be responsible for providing professional development to Summer Program teachers, developing assessments that will provide data on student learning, engaging in selective small group literacy or math instruction, and leading weekly data review and decision making meetings to inform the subsequent week's classroom instruction.
July 6 - 8, 8:00am - 12:00pm: Professional Development Associated with Program Instruction
July 11 - 15, 8:00am - 12:00pm: Training Grades K-5 Summer Program Teachers in the Professional Development Associated with Program Instruction
July 18 - August 12, 8:00am - 12:00pm: Grades K-5 Assessment Development and Small Group Instruction on Monday - Thursday; Leading Grades K-5 Collaborative Data Review Meetings on Friday.
