Essex Westford School District is seeking teachers to provide instruction in core academics (reading, math, writing) to students in the K-7 integrated summer program. The position includes planning for instruction based on specific needs of students in your classroom.The EWSD summer program will begin July 5 and is expected to go until August 4. The program will run Monday - Thursday from 8:30am-12:30pm and includes 10 hours of planning time. This program will be taking place at Essex High School.

Candidates with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:
  • Hold (or be eligible to hold) a valid Vermont Educator's License with an applicable endorsement.
  • Experience working with elementary school students preferred.
  • Dedication to providing a safe and respectful learning environment for students
  • Excellent teaching, organizational, planning, written and oral communication, and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to the success of ALL students, and ability to understand and teach to the various learning styles of students
  • The ability to effectively engage students.
