    Description:
    The Director of Marketing, Enrollment and Fundraising, a key member of the administrative team, is responsible for 1) designing, implementing and maintaining a strong marketing plan, 2) growing enrollment and improving retention, and 3) overseeing fundraising activities. All responsibilities are to be in line with the Catholic mission of the school. The Director of Marketing, Enrollment and Fundraising reports to the principal and works collaboratively with the main office staff, school committees and parish staff.

    Ascension School educates children in the formative years of PK3 to grade 8. Our mission is to educate each child by providing a challenging and faith-filled Catholic school education.

    Job Summary:
    • Competencies and skills:
      • Creates and executes a comprehensive marketing plan to promote Ascension School
      • Designs and executes all print, video, and web-based promotional materials
      • Actively manages social media presence and school website
      • Communicates school activities and achievements via all school promotional channels
      • Creates, designs and manages recruitment and registration events including but not limited to Catholic Schools Week
      • Organizes school tours, open houses, and events that draw prospective families to Ascension School
      • Develops, implements and manages recruitment and enrollment of new students and families
      • Fosters and maintains positive relationships with families and students through and after the enrollment processes
      • Maintains alumni database and deepens alumni relationships by creating/implementing annual alumni events
      • Oversees and executes critical school fundraising activities
      • Meets annual fundraising goals
      • Makes regular report to school/parish leadership and the school board


    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing preferred
      • Demonstrates the ability to effectively articulate the values and mission of Ascension School
      • Proven experience in social media
      • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
      • Expertise in effectively managing multiple marketing, enrollment and fundraising initiatives
      • Flexible, open and positive team player
      • Demonstrates the understanding of and commitment to Catholic education
