Essential Duties and Responsiblities:

Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and at times designated.

Establishes and maintains a classroom environment that is neat, attractive and conducive to effective teaching and learning.

Prepares for classes assigned and submits written lesson plans to the Principal.

Employs a variety of instructional strategies and techniques to address the different learning styles of the students.

Maintains high expectations for all students through instructional planning, instructional delivery, assessment and personal action.

Maintains accurate, complete, correct and up-to-date records as required by law, district policy and administrative regulation.

Participates in required and voluntary professional development activities and staff meetings scheduled by the district and the school.

Establishes and maintains open lines of communciation with students and thier parents concerning student academic and behavioral progress.

Qualifications:

Possesses a valid South Carolina Teaching Certificate in Secondary Math
