We are currenlty seeking Subsitute Teachers to make a difference in the lives of our students. Student programs include Alternative Education, Special Education and Career & Technical Education (CTE). These positions are temporary positions located throughout all of our BOCES campuses and sites. Posession of a Bachelors degree is required, but those with four years of professional working experience in a Career & Technical field also qualify for substitute teaching in a CTE classroom. We desire someone with excellent time management skills, that has an ability to work in a variety of settings, and whom has good communication skills, tolerance, patience and self organization. Preference will be given to those that possess dependability and punctuality. Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply for a job when they do not meet 100% of the listed qualifications.
